This notice explains how IRC Solutions CC, trading as Burckardt Consulting ("we"), handles personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect
Only what you give us: when you send an enquiry, book a session, email, call or message us, we receive your name, organisation, role, contact details and whatever you tell us about your project.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare for and hold a Project Initiation session, and, if we work together, to deliver and invoice our services. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list without your consent.
Who processes it for us
We use trusted service providers to run this website and handle communication: the website host (Cloudflare), the enquiry-form service (Formspree), Microsoft 365 for email and bookings, and WhatsApp if you choose to message us there. Some of these providers process information outside South Africa, under safeguards required by POPIA.
Cookies and analytics
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free statistics to understand how many people visit which pages, without identifying individual visitors.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a project are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact our Information Officer at the details above. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
